Hawaii culture and the trans

Many societies were accepting the transgenders, homosexual people until one day, there came the colonisers.

They brought in the religion, not at the beginning and later, made homosexual and transgender people a sin.

Now, the internet age, you should know that religion is invented. Therefore, you should not subjected to the invented fairy tales.

The film does not touch on much with homosexual people but more on transgender, the role in the society.

A Native Hawaiian transgender teacher and cultural leader mentors a young girl determined to lead an all-male hula troupe, challenging expectations about gender, tradition, and belonging within her community. Through hula, family, and Hawaiian cultural identity, the story follows their emotional journey as they navigate acceptance, self-expression, and the meaning of Mahu, a traditional Hawaiian identity embracing both masculine and feminine spirit. This inspiring LGBTQ documentary blends personal storytelling, Indigenous culture, music, and social impact while celebrating resilience, education, and the power of living authentically. 2014 American Fijian LGBTQ+ Music Documentary Movie Director: Dean Hamer, Joe Wilson Stars: Leo Anderson Akana, Haemaccelo Kalu, Ho‘onani Kamai
