It would be more precise to say the gays and lesbians. The bisexuality might still think of having babies and they could have it. The transgender should not have it but it looks like they are confusing as the report said that the trans-man wanted to have the second baby. Confusing the role that the each and individual of us have in the society, isn't it ?

The very first question to ask is, why there is gay and lesbian. Though animals do have homosexual, they are less as their life spans are shorter than human beings. Besides, human beings are more and capable of moving from one location to another easily than animals or birds.
It is no fun to fall in love with the same sex. But the role of homosexual is to guard the world. They balance the resources on the earth and provide much more social therapy. However, the inclusion of religions broke the role of homosexual. Read the
The religious leaders via the power of the politicians, would make the homosexual a sin by their own words. By the way, Buddhism is not a religion,thus Buddhism does not discriminate homosexuals. In fact, all religions were created to love the human beings, only human beings need religions. Animals and birds need food and shelters.
This is very similar to the slavery system, that the master wanted more children from the slaves so that there would be more slaves. It is the greed of the human, just as you want to have more houses and cars too. Enough and sufficient would be the next issue the climate change activists should look into.
By now, you should have ideas why LGBT community is important part in balancing the world population and reduce the climate change. However, the LGBT community, especially the leaders should have better understand of the responsibility of people in the society but not talking so much on rights. If one place the responsibility in the right position, the rights is there.
I do not support surrogacy. This would be another topic in the other day. But merely to say that surrogacy is a part of increasing the human population though it might be in a slow process.
As the slogan goes, No demand, no supply. No supply, no exploitation of natural resources in the world.
Some did not get that. Here is a simple story.
If there were less demand on fossil fuel, there would be companies investing in this mining project. Can you with 9 billion people on earth not using the fossil fuel for energy? You may have other technologies to replace the energy, like solar, wind etc, the question here, who would benefit more and control the resources ? The investors or the users.
Some said there is no correlation of economics and climate change. Think hard about it. Those scientists only calculate the 2.7 degrees warmer but do not think of what causes the increase of temperature. Just as the linguist talking about the grammar of a language, but did not know that all languages were made and constructed years ago.
Take the bull by the horn. Find the main cause of the for the problem but not addressing it from the surface.
If all countries in the world approve the same sex marriage and the LGBT community could change their attitude for serving the community like the old days in the article above, our society would be better. Less war on natural resources, eventually, peace is achieved.
